(“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QDB.ca, creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise
interacting with our platform, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age.
- Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
- Are acting in accordance with all applicable Canadian laws and regulations.
- Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using QDB.ca on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have
authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Use of Service
QDB.ca is an online classified platform for Canadian real estate and property listings.
We provide the technology to connect property buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants.
We are not a real estate brokerage, agent, or party to any transaction.
What We Provide
- A platform to post and discover property listings across Canada.
- Search and filtering tools to find listings by location, price, type, and features.
- Communication tools to connect buyers/renters with property owners.
- Account management features including saved searches and bookmarks.
QDB.ca does not verify listing accuracy, property ownership, or the identity of users.
Always perform your own due diligence before any property transaction.
Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, security updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
- You may not share your account or allow others to use it.
- Each individual or entity may maintain only one active account, unless we give written permission for multiple.
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.
4. User Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to QDB.ca (listings, photos, messages).
By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display,
reproduce, modify (for formatting), and distribute that content on our platform and in marketing
materials promoting our service.
Content Standards
All listings and content you post must:
- Be accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
- Relate to a genuine property that you own or have authority to advertise.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including the Canadian Human Rights Act and provincial human rights codes. You must not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected grounds.
- Not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Not include personal information about third parties without their consent.
- Be in English or French (Canada's official languages).
Content Moderation
All new listings are subject to review before publication. We reserve the right to reject,
edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice or liability.
Listings expire after 70 days. You will be notified before expiry and may renew your listing.
5. Prohibited Uses
You must not use QDB.ca to:
Violations of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings (including advance-fee / rental scams).
- Advertise a property you do not own or have no authority to list.
- Engage in money laundering, fraud, or other illegal financial activity.
- Harvest email addresses or other user data for spam or unsolicited contact.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our platform without written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or systems.
- Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
- Post duplicate listings for the same property across multiple accounts.
- Discriminate against prospective buyers or tenants based on protected characteristics.
- Violate any applicable federal, provincial, or municipal law.
- Interfere with the proper working of the platform or place an unreasonable load on our servers.
- Impersonate any person, business, or entity, including QDB.ca staff.
- Post non-property related spam, advertisements, or promotional content.
- Engage in "bait and switch" — advertising one property and showing another upon contact.
6. Intellectual Property
The QDB.ca name, logo, website design, software, code, and all content created by us
are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce,
distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without express written permission.
You may share public listing pages via link for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of
our platform content requires our prior written consent.
7. Fees & Payments
Free Listings
Basic property listings on QDB.ca are currently free of charge.
We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, premium features, or featured listing packages in the future.
We will provide advance notice of any changes to our fee structure.
Premium Features
Certain promotional features (e.g., featured listings, urgent badges, homepage placement) may carry a fee.
All applicable fees will be clearly displayed before purchase. Fees are charged in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Refunds
Paid promotional feature fees are generally non-refundable once the promotion has been activated.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the charge.
8. Disclaimers
Important — please read carefully.

No Verification: We do not verify the accuracy of listings, the identity of users,
property ownership, or the physical condition of any property. Conduct your own due diligence.

As-Is Service: The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”
without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
or non-infringement.

No Real Estate Advice: Nothing on QDB.ca constitutes legal, financial,
or real estate advice. Consult a licensed professional before making any property decision.

Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party
websites linked from our platform.

User Conduct: We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QDB.ca and its officers, directors,
employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential,
or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Damages resulting from your reliance on listing information.
- Damages arising from fraudulent listings or user conduct.
- Damages from unauthorised access to or alteration of your account or data.
- Damages from service interruptions or errors.
Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the greater of
CAD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QDB.ca and its officers, directors,
employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses
(including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform.
- Content you post or submit.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
- Any transaction or dispute between you and another user.
11. Termination
By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option
in your profile settings. Upon closure, your listings will be deactivated and your personal
information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services immediately,
without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other users
or the integrity of the platform.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their
nature should survive termination (including disclaimer, liability limitation, and indemnification
provisions) shall remain in effect.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without
regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
- Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at
eabhi200k@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation through a
mutually agreed Canadian mediator before pursuing litigation.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts
of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
- Notify registered users by email for material changes.
- Post a notice on the platform for 30 days following a material change.
Your continued use of QDB.ca after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance
of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the changes, please discontinue use of the service.
