I am looking for two housemates to team-up and occupy two rooms in three-bedroom, two bathroom, semi-detached home on the Uptown West/Westmount neighborhood border. There is a room available on the second floor and one in the basement with its own bathroom. The house's parking spot is available. The main floor features a generously sized living room with hardwood flooring and a kitchen. The second floor has 2 large bedrooms with hardwood flooring and a 4-piece bathroom. The basement area has a bedroom, an additional 4-piece bathroom, and laundry. There house has a shared driveway with the house next-door with one (open) parking spot available next to the backyard. The backyard is shared with the other unit.



It's an easy walk to Uptown Waterloo to the restaurants and cafes, Waterloo Rec Center, Waterloo Park, and Waterloo Public Library, all less than a 10-minute walk. Close to both bus routes and ION light-rail stops for easy access to anywhere in Kitchener-Waterloo. The house is located in a quiet residential area, with a family-friendly atmosphere.



The two rooms available are 800CAD and 850CAD for a total rent of 2500CAD/month (three rooms total. The minimum stay is a one-year, starting on April 1st or as soon as possible.



About me: I am young professional, recently graduated PhD from McMaster University and former PhD resident at the Perimeter Institute. I am currently working at a local startup here in Waterloo. I have been a tenant in this house for the majority of my PhD studies, and I can attest the neighborhood is quiet and a peaceful place to stay. I am quiet, clean, friendly, helpful and I try to keep a consistent schedule. I am not a heavy drinker, and I am not a smoker.



About the landlords: The landlords are a local family living a few houses away on the same street. They are friendly, and take care of any repairs diligently. They take care of the snow and the backyard maintenance, and are very friendly and welcoming.



Note: This is a shared house, meaning rooms are not rented individually. The entire house is rented as one unit (the rent split between the three rooms.) There is some furniture available in the rooms (bed, desk, chairs), if you wish to use it.
