Looking for a private lender or private mortgage holder

A little bit about us…
We are a couple in our 40’s, married 25 years and raising our school aged special needs grandchild.

We are looking to buy our first home so our grandson will always have a home he knows and feels safe in, however need a little bit of help doing that. As stated, we are looking for a private lender, somebody to hold a private mortgage for us or similar because unfortunately it seems like we are unable to do this any other way.

If somebody has a home they would be willing to do a true “Rent To Own” situation with, we would be happy to consider this also and wouldn’t mind a “fixer upper”, as we are quite experienced in home maintenance/renovations.
